Fellow vloggers Alex, Charly, and I tried a bunch of unique Egg drinks at the famous Cafe Giang, the birthplace of the original Egg Coffee. We also try Egg Beer, Egg Rum, Egg Matcha Green Tea, and Egg Mung Bean (called green bean by many Vietnamese).

Egg Coffee is famous for its sweet, thick, and creamy froth made from egg and other secret ingredients, mixed with the strong and bold flavor of Vietnamese dark coffee.

The original owner of Cafe Giang invented Egg Coffee back when there was a shortage of dairy milk to use as creamer. Eggs were used as a substitute, but it took many decades for the drink to evolve into its current form that it's famous for.

Taking the egg concept even further, Cafe Giang has expanded its menu to include Egg Beer, Egg Rum, Egg Matcha Green Tea, and Egg Mung Bean.
