I was doing some germination tests for an online seed store I plan on opening, and sometimes it's just too hard to kill the little sprouts. Back in Wisconsin we used to start our peppers indoors by about mid-February. This is still about a month and a half early, but the seeds had germinated and sprouted, so I decided to plant them. Since I've got extra room in my "Bathroom Garden" - https://youtu.be/HMdB-ezKoH8 - I think it'll work out well as a place to grow these young Carolina Reaper plants. If they do well, I should be starting off with some great plants in the spring!

The way we figure it, most of our sheep and goats should already be bred, but just in case any got missed, we swapped around all of our sheep and goats to arrange a few "marriages."

This video is basically a shuffling of animals, but the cool thing is how easy it becomes when you've got as many little helpers as we do. Enjoy it!

Can you imagine taking a small branch off of a tree that bears a type of fruit that you enjoy, moving it 750 miles away, sticking it into a wild tree, waiting three years, and then moving it to your new home?

That's exactly what happened here. Back in Wisconsin we had a delicious plum tree in our yard. When we sold our house, we weren't about to uproot the tree and bring it with us, but we were able to take some dormant cuttings from the tree. Upon arriving in the Ozarks, I learned how to graft and successfully grafted the scions into the wild plum trees found here.

Since I couldn't just keep a "stick" alive for years until we moved onto our land, grafting it into a small native tree here allowed me to only keep it alive, but to allow it to increase in size and attach itself to some hardy root-stock. Now, three years later, we were able to move this tree onto our land, and soon we can enjoy the same plums that we left in Wisconsin.
